To expand knowledge on the biodiversity and natural history of Madagascar,
To educate and advance future generations of Malagasy scientists working in the domain of conservation biology,
To help with the exchange of scientific information and experiences between national and international specialists,
To help reinforce collaborations between national and international institutions and NGOs in fields associated with the environment and conservation,
To advance expertise and knowledge associated with environmental impact studies and to follow aspects of the evolution of the island’s natural landscapes,
To provide solid scientific advice to managers of natural resources and protected areas associated with the conservation of Madagascar’s biodiversity.
